Office2PDM is an add-in for Microsoft Office that brings the document management functions of SolidWorks Enterprise PDM directly into Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project. Office2PDM is a SolidWorks Partner Product and supports version 2003 and later of key Microsoft Office applications. EPDM functions are provided in Microsoft Office 2007 and Microsoft Office 2010 by way of a simple and intuitive ribbon interface and easy to use task pane.
Office2PDM provides convenient access to common Enterprise PDM functions as well as timely access to document status information. It does all of this without requiring users to open a separate interface. People can work in a familiar Microsoft Office environment and streamline product development by eliminating the need to bounce between multiple applications.
